Basics
The Coin Guide
Two currencies, one lobby, and only one route to a prize.
Gold Coins
Play money. Issued in the millions because issuing costs nothing, impossible to redeem, and useful for learning a lobby without spending. A huge Gold Coin headline says nothing about the value of a welcome.
Sweeps Coins
The promotional currency with a redemption route. Wager each coin once and the balance can, at the site floor, be exchanged for a cash prize or gift card.
Why no purchase is needed
US sweepstakes rules require a free route in: a daily bonus, an on-site giveaway, a social drop or a postal request.
Playthrough and the floor
Playthrough means one wager per coin before it counts. The floor is the minimum redeemable balance the site processes, 50 to 100 SC across the countdown.
- Gold Coins: unlimited, free, worthless at the cashier
- Sweeps Coins: one playthrough, redeemable at the floor
- Free clearance in this countdown: same day to fifteen days
Shortcut. Divide the Sweeps Coin figure by the floor, then look at the payout time. Those two numbers explain most of the order on this site.
